Human Rights Education and Multiculturalism Fund (HREMF)

2007-08 funding - $1.8 million

The goals of the HRCM Education Fund are to reduce discrimination and racism, to help organizations, institutions and businesses change so that their policies, procedures and practices no longer discriminate or create barriers to full and equitable participation by any person, and to increase awareness and understanding of the rights and responsibilities under the Human Rights, Citizenship and Multiculturalism Act, and of the benefits of diversity.

Types of Grants:

Project funding is available to organizations wishing to foster equality and reduce discrimination.
